Access

Get in touch about your Access needs

Powered access refers to equipment that is designed to lift personnel, tools and materials to work safely at height. The most common types of powered access equipment are Mobile Elevating Work Platforms or MEWPs, and Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs).

Powered access is the safest way to carry out temporary work at height. Operators and supervisors should always be properly trained and use the right equipment for the job.

MEWPs are also sometimes referred to as aerial work platforms, cherry pickers, scissor lifts, booms and mast lifts.

Our team is trained and certified to operate powered access equipment.

We are fully covered by Public Liability Insurance, meaning you can rest assured that our team is safe to work at height on your site.

All our Operators hold a PAL Card, showing that they have been properly trained and certified by IPAF. This means they are licensed to deliver powered access services wherever it is needed.

PAL certified

Our specialist team are PAL Card holders. A PAL Card is a Powered Access Licence for operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).

To qualify for a PAL Card, operators must complete an IPAF training course and pass a test at an IPAF-accredited training centre.

The IPAF training programme was developed by leading industry professionals and is certified by TÜV as conforming to the international standard ISO 18878 Mobile elevating work platforms – Operator (driver) training.
